Bird Drawings

This body of work was exhibited at Signal Arts Centre, Wicklow in 2016. The work examines the themes of fragility in nature, death, transformation, and transcendence. Birds have a long history of representation in art and are part of the creation of myths of many cultures, often seen as a link from the human world to the divine.
